Allow me to savor this moment to write about my first accommodation invite. <3
When I started featuring new cafes and places in the South, I didn’t know new businesses would reach out to me to try out their products (dude, what more yung hotel accommodation diba?)
So I was actually very thankful for this accommodation (and much needed rest by the way!)
I’ve always wanted to relocate in Tagaytay. Maybe it’s the vibe, yung chill, malamig, tahimik (kahit traffic mygash), Tagaytay will always have that number 1 spot in my heart when it comes to chillin’!
Urban Suites Tagaytay actually has three other units that can be rented. Their units are all located at SMDC Wind Residences, very easy to locate and sobrang hindi hassle kasi very accessible naman siya sa main road.

I got to SMDC Wind Residences around 1:30 in the afternoon to check in, the guards are very accommodating on where to go. The unit I’m about to stay in was in Tower 1. I texted Kuya Nilo that I was in the lobby already. I logged in my details and he escorted me to the room.
It was a spontaneous weekend by the way, by spontaneous, I mean, hindi ko talaga siya naisip gawin! HAHAHA!! Pero sabi nga nila, yung mga biglaan, yun pa yung natutuloy.
I picked the standard room. Upon entering, you’ll actually see that the unit was well maintained. It’s clean (and it smells good too), dun palang winner na yung staycation ko! :) I don't know, pero when you're adulting, you get to enjoy simple things more.
Yung malinis, yung tahimik, yung chill.
This boho-chic inspired room was the perfect getaway for me. Away sa stress ng life at ng work, sa traffic etc. etc. etc. I also loved how they decorated the unit, not too chic and not too simple. They added all the simple touches that made the room cozy and homey.
There are ready appliances that you can use in your stay. The ref, the microwave, tv, microwave and the electric kettle is all yours for the weekend.

I honestly loved how they maximized the small studio unit. It didn't feel small and cramped up in the first place.
I also loved the balcony, ang sarap lang mag-chill at umupo, tapos maiisip mo yung naiwan mong trabaho sa office. Kidding!
Ang sarap lang magmuni-muni, assess life in general.
Well, my unit faces the back part of the building so this is the view, pero sobrang foggy kaya para ka ring super lapit sa clouds since the unit sits on the 15th floor.
This unit costs 2,750 pesos for an overnight stay for two. Check in is at 2pm while checkout the next day is by 12 noon.
It's actually a 30sq meter 1 bedroom condominium. It also has free wifi para you can check out places where you can eat while you're there.
The only bummer siguro was that I was not allowed to cook, but they allow cooking on their other units :)
After arranging my things, I had the chance to look at the other amenities that Urban Suites or SMDC has to offer. Pwedeng lakarin yung clubhouse and it's actually super cold rin kaya di hassle to look around the place.
You can also pay an extra 150 per head if you want to use their other amenities like the indoor pool and games area.

I honestly enjoyed the indoor pool kasi it's actually not too crowded.
Well for the boys, they also have the outdoor basketball court, tennis, billiard and badminton court that you can check out when you check in at Urban Suites Tagaytay.
One thing I also love about the place is that sa ground level, you'll see BDO, 711, Dairy Queen, Pizza Hut and other restos and stores that you can check out lalo na pag may biglaan kayong naiwan or hindi nabili from the grocery.
My stay at Urban Suites Tagaytay gave me convenience and a hassle-free staycation that also equates to a much needed rest, grabe! Solid!
My second day was a great morning too! Sarap mag-kape tapos magluto ng samyang noodles!
